Elena Gonzalez

Elena is one of the best teachers that ATA has to offer. She has over a decade of experience working with preschool children including the last 3 years here at ATA. She serves as on of our lead 2 year old teachers and does a phenomenal job balancing our academic curriculum with providing the children lots of love in a warm and welcoming environment. She has trained many of our younger teachers both here at ATA and at her previous school. We are very lucky to have Ms. Elena as a part of our ATA family.  

Cristina Machado

My name is Maria Cristina Machado. I am speaker Spanish from Colombia, I born in Medellin-Antioquia. I has been living in USA for 11 years. I have my Bachelor Degree in Childhood Education. I tough in Colombia to Pre-K, Kindergarten and First Grade. In USA I tough to two year old children for the last 6 years. I love my profession, I love to teach to young children and I has been enjoying teaching Spanish and learning from my students. I believe that a good communication with parents are very important in their child life at school.

 

Ericka Garcia

Ms.Ericka has been in the Early Childhood Field for 5 years and a half. She has been part of the ATA family for a year. She is a native Spanish speaker from Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico. Her is passionate to teach children in their early age as they are most curious about their environment. "I believe that as a childhood educator, I am responsible for providing children with positive learning experiences. I strive to model respect,patient and care for the children I work with."

Wenyan Chen

Wenyan Chen is our lead Pre-K Chinese Teacher. While teaching in China, Wenyan was awarded first prize as a teaching expert in China's Wuchang district. She also Won first prize in a Wuhan City teaching competition. She earned her  Bachelors degree from Wuhan University in the Hubei province of China and completed her teacher trainining at Jianghan University. She has 10 years of early childhood teaching experience. Her warm and nurturing spirit fosters a love for learning the Chinese language and culture in all of our pre-K students.

Jose Luis Macias

Hi, my name is José Luis Macías Rojas. I was born, I grew up and trained in the city of Los Reyes which belongs to the state of Michoacán in Mexico (a lovely place to visit if you like). My professional studies are related to science, besides that have taken several graduates who stand out, quality control in food, family counseling and how to learn better. In Mexico, I formally worked as a high school teacher, middle school, Elementary and in my last year as principal of a middle private school. (My curriculum is at your disposal). For today ATA already it offers me the opportunity to serve as science, social studies and Spanish grammar teacher, as well as a after school kindergarten and Elementary teacher.

Maritza Alba

Maritza Alba is our lead Spanish teacher for our toddler class. She brings a breadth of experience to our teaching team and has worked in early childhood and elementary education for over 10 years. She attended Instituto Superior Pedagogico in her native Cuba where she earned her degree in Early Childhood Education. She has a warm and loving spirit and makes sure our youngest students have a nurturing and care-taker as they enter our program. They quickly fall in love with Spanish through songs, games & creative movement. An avid story teller, Maritza also ensures each child's Spanish vocabulary grows each and everyday as they absorb more and more language during Spanish story time.

Araceli Hernandez

Araceli Hernandez is a bilingual Spanish teacher who works with our Pre-K through 1st grade students. She is a native of Mexico and brings over 10 years of experience here in Georgia teaching Pre-K and Kindergarten. She is a graduate of Universidad Justo Sierra in Acapulco, Mexico where she earned her Bachelors in elementary education. She has a warm spirit and is a tremendously effective instructor.

Georgiana Lomas

Georgiana Lomas is a highly experienced educator with a tremendous amount of experience teaching students of various ages. Georgiana was born in Panama City, Panama and is a native Spanish speaker. Se holds a Bachelors degree in Sociology and has several certifications in early childhood education. She has taught Pre-K at ATA for the last 3 years. In addition to her experience teaching at ATA she has taught at the elementary and middle school level as well. She brings tremendous energy and a great passion for her students each and every day.

Estephania Ibarra-Fermin

Estephania has taught at ATA for the last 3 years. This year she serves as our lead Toddler 3 teacher and brings a professional attitude and strong work ethic into the classroom each and every day. She has a passion for creativity and nurtures each of our young students to explore their own creativity through a variety of classroom projects and activities. She is also tremendously skilled at implementing the beginning portions of our reading and math curriculum and thus her students are very well suited to achieve great success in the academic portions of our curriculum.  

Fang Abbey

Fang has a very warm spirit and a genuine love for young children that makes her a wonderful caregiver for our youngest students. She currently works with our 1 and 2 year old students and for most of them is there first introduction to the Chinese language and culture. She ensures that their natural inquisitiveness is nurtured in a safe and fun classroom setting. She is very engaging with the children and their Chinese knowledge grows each and every day. She is a very valuable member of our team.

Bena Yang

Bena earned both her Bachelors and Masters degrees at Jinan University in mainland China. Her focus area there was applied linguistics and she brings a wealth of knowledge in both linguistics and language acquisition to our teaching team. She presently works with our Toddler 3, Pre-K3 & Pre-K4 students. She shares her love for the Chinese language and culture with our students in each and every class.

Andrea Phillips - Assistant Director

Assistant Director
Andrea Phillips has extensive teaching experience in both English and Spanish. She has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Spanish with a minor in Applied Linguistics from Georgia State University. Andrea also has a Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) certification. Her qualifications along with her warm and outgoing personality make her a tremendous asset to the Atlanta Trilingual Academy family. Andrea is originally from Michigan, but now resides in Mableton, GA with her husband and two daughters.
