Healthy Meal Policy

Atlanta Trilingual Academy strives to develop each students’ palate for healthy food options. We believe in healthy eating and have made it our goal to teach our students the same. We serve fresh fruit each day for snack and include organic foods for both snacks and lunches when we are able.

Our lunches are made from scratch with lots of love. Some of the students’ favorite menu items include tacos made with homemade tortillas and fresh avocado and cilantro, empanadas with dough made from scratch and lots of vegetables included in the filling, baked chicken with pureed vegetables as the sauce, chili with diced carrots, eggplant, zuchini, squash and bell pepper and chicken fried rice with lots of chopped vegetables.

Hydration is important in keeping our bodies healthy and water is the best option. In an effort to encourage a love for drinking water, our children are allowed to have water whenever they ask. Unlike other schools we do not limit beverages to lunch and snack time only. Many children opt for juice or sweet drinks and we want our students to develop their palate to prefer water.
